First handpan single from the first handpan player in the Philippines, Aldous Castro. Handpans were originally popularized since the early 2000s as "Hang" or "Hang Drum". It later progressed to the more generic term "Handpan". Aldous is pioneering and introducing the instrument in the Philippines. He has been a handpan player playing solo handpan sets since 2012. But has been a percussionist for several bands in the local scene for 13 or so years.
